Declaration

  • I am aware if the name provided above is different from my passport/driver’s license/frequent flyer membership & needs to be changed, I am liable for any amendment fees imposed by the airline(s), hotel(s) & tour/cruise operator(s).
  • I am aware certain countries have entry VISA REQUIREMENTS and it is my responsibility to seek information and obtain those visas, unless I instruct/authorise Wollongong Travel Centre to obtain them on my behalf. I am also aware of the USA Visa Waiver program that needs to be completed at least 72 hours before boarding from Australia.
  • I am aware that a MACHINE READABLE PASSPORT is now a requirement for overseas travel with 6 months validity from date of return
Requests
  • I am aware airline seating and hotel room configuration is only ever on a request basis. Seating can not be guaranteed and is subject to change at the carrier’s discretion. Exit row seating can ONLY be confirmed upon check-in. I am aware bedding/room configuration cannot be guaranteed and is at the hotel’s discretion.
  • I understand that a special meal must be booked at least 24 hours prior to my flights departure and will not be catered for if I make changes to my booking inside 24 hours prior to departure.
My Booking
  • I am aware my deposit is fully non-refundable and non-transferable to any other booking or person.
  • Please refer to our statement of account for final payment due date & final balance. I understand that the price quoted in my statement of account is not guaranteed until paid in full, as taxes and fuel surcharge levies may vary between now and my final payment date.
  • Accepted forms of payment are cash, personal or bank Cheque, EFTPOS, direct transfer/deposits (MUST NOTIFY OUR OFFICE OF ALL PAYMENTS) & credit cards (A SURCHARGE APPLIES FROM 1.5-3.5%).
  • When booking a cruise or coach tour that is a NON-TOUR GUARANTEE, I am aware it is a possibility the tour/cruise can be withdrawn from sale (cancelled). Any additional (pre or post) bookings I have in relation to the above, I will be liable for the amendment and/or cancellation fees imposed by the non-associated hotel, operator or airline.
  • I am aware all cancellations of and/or changes made to my booking will not be processed until received in writing.

*In addition to the above you will also be charged amendment/cancellation fees from airlines, consolidators, cruise lines, tour operators, wholesalers, hotels & any other operator associated with your booking. Please read their conditions outlined in their brochures &/or rules & regulations. If you require further information, please contact our office.

Travel Insurance

Wollongong Travel Centre & the Australia Government strongly advise that you take travel insurance at this stage. Please make sure that you are aware of cancellation fees and non-refundable components of your holiday in the event that you need to cancel. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please let Wollongong Travel Centre know and we shall advise in regards to coverage. If you are using credit card travel insurance or travel insurance with another provider, be sure to contact your credit card provider/bank/insurance provider and get them to send you a copy of the policy wordings so you understand your coverage. If the policy does meet your requirements, ask them to provide you with an emergency assitance reverse charge phone call to call in case of an emergency. You may also require a travel insurance policy number from them in case you need to use this service.

Notes: Important Advice: Due to the highly unstable cost of oil in the global market place, suppliers are, at times, increasing the level of fuel surcharges and tax levies. Governments may also change tax requirements for travellers and changes to exchange rates may affect the price quoted for your holiday. Wollongong Travel Centre cannot be held responsible for any increase in the cost of your travel arrangements as a result of these fluctuations, with or without warning or written notice. It is to your advantage to pay as early as possible to secure the quoted price. Be aware that the price of your travel arrangements cannot be guaranteed until paid in full and all prices are subject to change.
